Omnidrectional movement refers to the notion of existing in every direction. When it comes to video games, omnidirectional movement usually means that you will be able to move in any direction efficiently. An example comes from the game "Max Payne" which featured multi directional movement which allowed players to sprint and dive in any direction as you can see here:
