Omnidrectional movement refers to the notion of existing in every direction. When it comes to video games, omnidirectional movement usually means that you will be able to move in any direction efficiently. An example comes from the game "Max Payne" which featured multi directional movement which allowed players to sprint and dive in any direction as you can see here:

Omnidirectional movement is a hot topic once again as with the Black Ops 6 reveal being today we have learned that omnidirectional movement will indeed be in Black Ops 6. Based off a cgi cutscene that is making its way around the internet, we know you will be able to dive and move around more freely:

Above is a screenshot from the cutscene which shows a player dolphin diving off of a large height and quickly turning around before the players hits the ground. With this new mechanic opens up many new possibilities for outplays, strategies, metas, and significantly raises the skill ceiling. The game launches on October 25th, make sure to register on this website so that when the game drops you will have many useful tips to implement in your game to adjust to using and playing against this new in game mechanic.

Thank for this, I saw the news that omni movement would be in Black Ops 6 and was wondering what that exactly meant.
