Following the unexplained destruction of a portion of Lamang during "the event," the Lamang Recovery Initiative is a nonprofit that searches for and defends Gray Zone Warfare survivors. Since the UN has left the region entirely, the LRI is responsible for carrying out cleanup efforts all throughout the island. Also, they have access to expert security details that provide defense against other groups trying to take advantage of Lamang.
According to the developers, Mithras Security Systems is a “PMC run by soldiers for soldiers” that adheres to the Roman Legion's creed of distributing victory prizes equally among its members. You have to be well-trained and have completed a good number of missions in order to join Mithras Security Systems.
Crimson Shield International is the final Gray Zone Warfare group to select. They are a merciless PMC with a reputation for using all means necessary to achieve their goals. It has a 95% success rate on all of its operations, but because of its history of "collateral damage," many innocent bystanders are sometimes lost in the process.
