The developers for the new FPS games Splitgate 2 have just announced a chance for gamers to get their hands on Splitgate 2 and it’s only a week away. From August 21-25, anyone with a Steam account can head to the Splitgate 2 steam page and register for the Alpha!
The Splitgate 2 alpha is going to fun for five days and will feature the exact same content as they made playable at Gamescom.You can play two modes during the Alpha, the all-new Hotzone and classic Team Deathmatch.
Here’s everything in the Alpha:
- All three factions (Aeros, Meridian and Sabrask), with their faction-specific abilities
- Six base character skins - two per faction
- Three arena maps (Ozone, Zenith and Frontier)
- Three primary weapons per faction (not the final number of primary weapons)
- One secondary weapon per faction (not the final number of secondary weapons)
- Weapon attachments for primary and secondary weapons
- Faction-specific equipment and perks (not final)
- Game modes: Hotzone and Team Deathmatch
- RedKard anti-cheat
- Friends List with in-game party system
- Voice and Text Chat integration
To play the Alpha you’ll need a PC and a Steam account. But if you prefer a controller, that’s just fine. Any controller that Steam supports will work in the Alpha.
